I’ve created these flow chart graphics for both the Federal EEO Complaint Process and the Non-federal EEO Complaint Process. As you can see, the major difference between the two are the deadlines between steps. Always be sure to pay attention to deadlines.

In addition, the Federal EEO Complaint Process is mainly conducted directly through an EEO Counselor, while the Non-federal EEO Complaint Process is mainly conducted through the EEO Public Portal.
